Port discovery

We went to Baltimore today to port discovery for new years eve celebrations. The kids loved it! They shopped, cooked,  climbed, and drenched ourselves in water fountains!  We will definitely be returning but not on new years eve! Too many people!

Bruno pupu

Bruno, the lovable wiener dog, came into our home the day after Christmas. Since his arrival, he has been more than loved by everyone! Bruno has spent many hours eating,sleeping in his box, and yes pooping! Not to worry, the kids gladly clean up the poop. In fact they fight over who gets to shovel next! Katelyn is quoted as saying "alright feed him and ready.... squeeze! I got this one" and as a side note....not giving any names but only my family would by this for our children! :)

Gingerbread house crash!

We thought it was a good idea yo build a gingerbread house again this year..wrong! The house crashed for some reason. I don't know if it was the kids or the parents that caused the crash but it was unrepareable! So, we decorated the sides and ate the leftovers! :)

Big boy bed!

We changed Jeremy's bed today and he is now sleeping in a twin bed. Knock on wood but it was an easy bedtime tonight! I'm not convinced every night will be like this but I will also not complain if they are! He is very proud to have a big boy bed like Katelyn!!!

Breakfast with Santa!

We went to have breakfast with Santa this morning! It was a success! Katelyn went right up to him and climbed in his lap. Jeremy stood beside him at first but then got in his lap after a few minutes. Both were a little shy but did say a few words to him. Santa even came to our table and talked to us.

First snow of the season!

It snowed enough to make the grass white and of course the kids needed to go play! I talked them out of wearing snow pants even though it was definitely cold enough for them. We can't wait for more!

Happy Halloween

Rapunzel and a dinosaur.  Trick or treat!

Trick or treat!

We went trick or treating tonight. Katelyn was Rapunzel and Jeremy was a dragon. They. Both got a lot of candy and had a great time! The rain didn't seem to bother them one bit. It made us think that last year at this time, we were without power because of hurricane sandy.

Pumpkin patch

We went to the pumpkin patch today. Jeremy tried to roll all of the pumpkins in the field while Katelyn wandered trying to find the perfect one.

Fall fun!

We went to a fall festival today. It was a blast!  We got our faces painted into a beautiful butterfly and a ferocious tiger. We did a corn maze, lots of big slides, saw some animals, played in a corn pit, and so much more. What a great day!

Ready for school!

Katelyn starts preschool today. She is so excited. She was up and dressed super fast. She is wearing her hello kitty backpack even though school doesn't start for hours. Jeremy is confused about what is going on and thinks he is missing something.

Lake Tobias!   Today we went to Lake Tobias.  The Boblitz's and Grandpa and Grandma Zutell met us there!  What fun!The day started with some rain and clouds but ended up beautiful (don't tell Uncle Adam that I said that!)  Katelyn loved every second of feeding the animals no matter how big or small.  She was upclose and personal with elk, buffalo, cattle, zedonks, deer, emu, llama, goats, and the list goes on!  Jeremy was close to the animals but still wanted to watch them with some distance.  Be careful not to get too close!  Christopher loved the animals.  With Grandpa's help he even tried to ride a buffalo.  We weren't able to catch any proof of this however!  :(  Melody LOVED feeding the animals too.  She is not at all afraid of the animals no matter their body size, mouth size, or teeth size! 

We are finally getting around to updating the blog again.  Sorry!
We have been busy this summer.  We took a long weekend vacation to the beach.  It was Jeremy's first time in the sand, sun, and waves.  Let's just say we aren't going to judge our love of the beach by his first trip.  He spent most of the time climbing one of us, whining for mommy, or snacking in the tent. Katelyn on the other hand, loved it.  She played in the sand, carried buckets of water from the ocean to the big hole that daddy dug, caught sand crabs, and jumped waves.  Christopher and Melody also seemed to love the beach!  We won't give up on Jeremy...there is still hope.
