Spring Break!

We have been on spring break this week and we have been BUSY!

Katelyn got 2 early Easter surpises...one from Grandma and Pap (thank you!)and the other from the Easter Bunny! Katelyn was very excited to hear that he came to visit and left her a basket of goodies. She loved the marshmallow peeps but oh my did they make her wound up! She was also very excited to find all the Easter Eggs that the silly bunny hid around the house.

On one of our other days off we went to the zoo. We got season passes for Mom and Dad so we will be spending a lot of time there this summer! (we would love to take visitors with us too...hint hint hint)

We have a few more days off and then be are back to the grind!

Spring has arrived!

Sorry for the delay in updating the blog. Time got away from us I guess.

Today wasn't hot but there was no rain inside so we had to make a trip to the park. Katelyn was so excited when we pulled into the parking lot. Katelyn immediately climbed to the highest part of the equiptment (John following right behind) and down the big twisty slide. She is fearless at the park!

During the winter and rainy weather, Katelyn spends her time chasing Clyde, teasing Clyde, and teasing Mom and Dad. It is great to see her personality grow and change. She still loves her farm and animals, coloring, cooking in her kitchen, and reading books. There are even a few books that she can read by herself (in a Katelyn version of course).

It is also hard to believe that she will be 2 in a little over a month!!!
