This has been a busy week in the Veronie house so far. Katelyn was visited by a lot of new family members. Katelyn met Aunt Sara, Uncle Linwood, India, and Jordyn on Tuesday. She also met Uncle Justin and Aunt Jen on Wednesday. Thanks for visiting us!

My first Parade and Carnival

Katelyn went to her first parade and carnival last week. It was the GREAT Thurmont Carnival! Katelyn was wide awake in her stroller as we waited for the parade. Within 3 minutes of walking around though she was fast asleep. She slept through the drums in the band, car horns, singing, dancing, farm tractors, tractor trailers and much more. She even slept John pushing the stroller and dodging dancers to cross the parade
so that we could get her home to go to bed for the night. What a brave man her Dad is!

2 month check up

Can you believe that Katelyn is 2 months old already? Time is flying!!!
This is a little late but yes, Katelyn had her 2 month check up last week. She is doing well. She is 10 lbs 5 ounces and 23 inches long. Katelyn is doing better now after getting a few shots. For the first day or so afterwards she was running a fever and really fussy. The best thing that consoled her was her changing table pad! For some odd reason Katelyn was happiest laying on it. As you can see in the pictures she already has Mom and Dad wrapped around her little finger because we carted that thing all over the house just for her to lay on. And yes that is a pillow so she could prop up her precious little head and look around.

Happy 4th of July

Grandma and Grandpap Veronie came to visit this weekend. We went to a Chili Cookoff. It was a beautiful day for walking around the park but a little hot for eating chili. Katelyn slept through the chili, sunshine, loud music, and crowds of people. Maybe next year she will be awake and ready for the chili sampling.
