Santa has arrived!

The kids were so excited to see if santa ate the cookies they left, if the reindeer made a mess, and what gifts santa left. The kis were thrilled with everything. Katelyn got bouncy and very excitable puppy, Minnie boutique, Olivia, and lots of clothes. Jeremy got toy trucks, blocks, and clothes. Jeremy alone wanted to open about two presents then he thought it was abetted idea to climb on the boxes and dance or steal katelyns opened presents. Katelyn helped open the rest of his so it is a win win for both of them!

Time for an update...

Since the last time we posted we have done a lot. We went to the fall festival at south mountain creamer. They had a hay ride. Cows. Fresh butter. Icecream. KAtelyn rode a pony. We climbed on hay bails. It was great fun! We also went to color fest with both grandmas, aunt jenn, and Dominic. That was another fun day! And like every year we went to the pumpkin patch to pick out our own pumpkins. Lugging/ chasing two kids around a pumpkin field and farm definitely causes smaller pumpkins to be picked. Katelyn picked her own and carried it herself. I was impressed because she kept saying she needed a small one so she can carry it and that's just what she got.

9 months already

Jeremy had his 9 month check up... here's the stats.
20 lbs (50th percentile)
30 inches (95percentile)
So it looks like we have a tall boy growing here! He weights almost as much as katelyn does at 28 lbs. He is standing at everything but isnt brave enough to try it alone.  Katelyn is still a great big sister. She is usually patient with her brother. Katelyn manages to crack us up in a daily basis. I don't know wherever comes up with some of the things she says.

My first haircut!

Mommy was tired of pushing my hair out of my eyes and so she cut it....i tried to stay still but that didn't really work so well. Now I look a little like Moe from the three stooges!

Jeremy is missing!!! Not to worry...katelyn is dressed in camp with a map binoculars compass and sharp knife to fond him.

Recent trips

We have been busy over the last few days....we have visited some friends and some family! ThAnks for the great hospitality! We have also been to the Thurmond carnival and in the words of katelyn ....I love roller coasters! I love them so much I dream about them! We also went to lake Tobias which was an awesome zoo and visited our local zoo. The goats are from here because lake Tobias is on the other camera. Oh and we also went to a tire park to play for a little while!

Happy fourth of July!

We are getting ready to head to Baker Park for our annual chili cook off visit! Hopefully the storms hold off until we are done eating chili!

Jeremy had his 6 month check up today. He is doing great! 17 lbs 15 oz but his legs were hanging off the scale so I would say he is easily 18 lbs. (58%) and 28 inches (92%). He got some shots andis pretty cranky katelyn is helping to keep him happy.

Visitors

We love visitors! Aunt adrienne,melody, and Christopher came to visit us today. It wasa great time playing although the weather was rainy. It was also gray seeing grandma, pap, uncle Justin, aunt jenn, and Dominic this weekend!
