Eating...or something like that
Katelyn tried cereal yesterday for the first time. She liked it and there was no mess as Kathy fed her. Tonight we tried again and I fed her. Not the same result. No pics of that because Kathy was laughing too hard. Katelyn proceeded to knock the bowl onto my lap and blow cereal bubbles. Everyone survived to eat another day.
Also this was Katelyn's first week of day care as school is back in session. Kathy and Katelyn both did great and Ms. Lana said Katelyn had a good week. Lets keep it up this week!

Where's Katelyn?
Katelyn usually sits in her bouncy seat or swing while we eat dinner. Clyde is usually under the table hoping for a dropped crumb or sleeping on his bed. One night Katelyn fell asleep so we put her in her crib for a nap. Clyde must have missed her because he slept with his head in her seat while we ate. Either that or he was taking advantage of his chance to get close to the bouncy chair since we won't let him near it when Katelyn is in there!
Daddy's Girl!
Katelyn loves her Dad!
As soon as John comes home from work he snatches her from me and the fun begins. Katelyn is instantly in smiles and silent laughter. All she has to do is look at her Dad and brings a smile to her face! I try to remind her that MOM is the one that carried her around for 9 months and went through a long day of labor so MOM should be the one that gets the smiles. I don't know if she understands or not! I do usually get a smile when I tell her that....I'm not sure what that means though! Oh well, I will take the smiles anyway I can get them because when Katelyn is happy, we are all happy!!
