Katelyn dance class.

Katelyn is really enjoying dance! This was the parent watch session. I have th e most admiration for the teachers. Somehow she manages teach these active, strong minded, lacking body control group of 5-6 year olds how to lift their legs and move their arms at the same time without ending up in a pile of kids crashed together on the floor. Amazing! Katelyn is going to continue taking dance lessons and will even get to do a recital with all the dancers. It is in may so that allows for ALOT of practice time. :)

Trick or treat

We went to aunt adrienne and uncle Adams house so we could trick or treat and celebrate grandma's birthday. The kids had a great time playing together. I think they wore each other out! Christopher was running around yelling chase me. Melody was busy running between the sqing, play house,grandpa, and airplanes. Katelyn was responsible to herd 3 almost 3 year olds. And jeremy just followed the lead of the other 2. I think grandma had a great birthday surprise too.

We carved our pumpkins today. It was s beautiful day so we could carve outside. Yay! No mess! Jeremy however wanted to wipe off his hands after every handful that he put in the "gutbag" aka trashbag. They turned out great!

Pumpkin patch fun!

We went to 2 different pumpkin patches this year. One was for play and the other was for pumpkins! The kids loved them both. We told them they had to be able to carry their own pumpkins....wrong idea I guess because the parents each had 2 pumpkins and a kid to load into the wagon! Maybe next year our theory will work!

Fall fun is starting

We have been promising the kids a trip to the bounce house so yesterday we went to a new one...monkey joes! The kids had the whole place pretty much to themselves. They bounced for an hour or so and wore themselves out. :)

The kids also got new fall boots for playing outside. Jeremy wears them constantly! He runs and jumps all through the house with them. He also has a cam pack back to match so it is a win win day! He is now like grandpa! :)

Katelyn is in kindergarten!

It is hard to believe but katelyn started kindergarten today. She has been ready to go for months! I on the other hand cannot believe that day is here already. She loves her teacher and is doing great so far. Jeremy is doing well without katelyn at daycare even though he misses her. Both kids said this morning that they want to be a daycare person when they grow up but by the time we had dinner that changed about 5 times.

Summer fun!

Today we spent the day riding trains and chasing bunnies. We went on a fun train ride that had wild west sheriff cowboys and bad guys. The kids loved the train but the bad guys surprised them a little. They are still talking the bad guys on the train. Then later in the evening, john and the kids chased 3 baby bunnies out of the garage. Katelyn loves bunnies so needless to say she was again super excited.
